Perfect subject matter for an early '50s sci-fi movie... especially if they were discovered on Venus.

This is kind of cool. It's telling kids about racial harmony.
Francis Drake Ballard wrote a bunch of stuff for Precision Plastics Company of Philadelphia, which owned Little John Records, including 'Magic Candy Man' and 'Little 2-Gun Joe.' He was also a playwright, going back to the 1930s.

Magic candy man, and two gun joe have both been featured here too.
I have about 20 of these little john records and almost all of them are credited to 'Ballard.' The guy was busy back in the day...

I'm pretty sure we owned every Little John Record you have posted. We must have been in the 'record of the month' club or something. I didn't recognize some of the titles in the Archives links, but I recognized the records when I saw them. Then it dawned on me, when I listened to these, I couldn't read! I was only 4 or 5. Anyway, thanks for posting these and bringing back some childhood memories.
